Want to fill in your Family Tree but don’t know where to start? The Greene-Dreher Historical Society can help you with a free Genealogy Workshop! We will be offering three free workshops at the Newfoundland Area Public Library this winter and early spring. The second workshop will be held on Thursday evening, March 5th, from 6:45 to 9:00. Bring a personal laptop or other device that can access the internet, or the library has several computers that can be used during the workshop. Ancestry.com will be available for your use, courtesy of the library.
If you would like to get your family tree started, need help with a tree you’ve already started, want to learn how to use Ancestry, would enjoy chatting with others interested in family history, or just need some uninterrupted time away from home to work on your tree, we hope you will join us. Free genealogy-related handouts will be provided at each session.
