As our nation commemorates the 250th Anniversary of American Independence, the Local History Roundtable invites you to join us for a special two-day journey through the rich heritage of the Northern Pocono Mountains. On Saturday and Sunday, September 26 and 27, seventeen historic locations throughout our region will be open to host visitors of all ages—all with FREE admission! Discover the people, places and events that shaped our local communities and contributed to the larger story of the Unted States. From early settlements and historic churches to museums, cemeteries, railroads, mills, factories, and landmarks, each stop will reveal a chapter of our region’s remarkable past.
Visit significant historical sites, hear stories from local historians, discover hidden treasures, and gain a deeper appreciation for the generations whose vision, hard work, and sacrifice built the communities we enjoy today!
