Blue skies ushered in the annual Harvest Open House at Peggy Bancroft Hall on Saturday, October 12. Once again this popular event featured tours of the museum and outbuildings and the sale of homemade jams and jellies and breads. The day is a chance for friends and neighbors as well as out-of-town visitors to stock up on these homemade treats for themselves, their families and to share as holiday gifts. Many stopped by early to pick out their favorites. The 2026 Historic Greene-Dreher Calendar was offered for sale for the first time, and it is also available on our Shop page. All in attendance enjoyed cider and doughnuts and lots of great conversation.
