Our annual Harvest Open House will be held on Saturday, October 17. We are pleased to announce that this year’s event will include a Book Fair featuring local authors who are members of GDHS. They will be available throughout the day to discuss, sign, and sell their most recent publications. Please check back here for a list of authors who will be participating. In addition to the wide selection of books that will be on display, many on local history, the 2027 Historic Greene-Dreher Calendar will be available for purchase.
Our ever-popular homemade fruit jams and jellies will be offered, as well as a selection of freshly homemade quick breads. Additionally, this year we will have take-home containers of favorite soups from our spring Soup Luncheon.
Volunteers will conduct tours of the museum, and the barn and outbuildings will be open, weather permitting. Cider and doughnuts will be available for visitors. The Harvest Open House is free and open to the public.
