Passing on Personal Possessions

May 4, 2026, 1:00pm to 2:30pm - Peggy Bancroft Hall, S. Sterling

Making decisions about passing on personal belongings and ancestral treasures can be challenging for even the most close-knit families. Christina Pulman, Penn State Extension Educator, will discuss how to dispose of the many items that you may have acquired over the years. Many families avoid talking about this topic for fear of turmoil; however, these details are unavoidable when there is a death or change in a living situation. Join us for this event to explore ways to plan ahead for this complex time of life.

Christina Pulman, from Penn State Extension in Lackawanna County, is an Extension Educator leading the statewide financial literacy programs and providing support on mental wellness, health literacy, and family development.  She has over twenty years of experience as an educational leader in her community supporting youth and families.

Light refreshments will follow the program, which is free and open to the public. The business sponsor for this event is Dirlam Bros Lumber Co.
