June is the perfect time to add new varieties of perennials to your garden. GDHS is hosting a Plant Sale Fundraiser where garden lovers can purchase indoor and outdoor plants. Members and volunteers have separated some of their favorite perennials and potted them so they are ready to take home for planting in your own garden. Iris, coneflower, daylilies, hosta, rudbeckia, and sedum are just a few of the selections that will be available. In addition, local garden centers have generously donated hanging baskets, potted plants and herbs to support this annual fundraising event.
Please stop by our booth at the Farmer’s Market in Carlton Drake Park in Newfoundland on Saturday, June 1. All proceeds from the sale will benefit the Historical Society.
